It has been a great joy to provide healthcare for my community since moving to the mountains of East Tennessee in 1999. 

I encourage patients to share their unique health story, then together we create a treatment plan to meet their healthcare goals. Patients have described my style of care as 'relaxed yet action-oriented'.

I incorporate my knowledge of acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet, massage, and lifestyle modifications so that each person is supported in becoming healthier and happier. I make every effort to provide consistent care through pain or illness, which can be a difficult journey.

I am particularly passionate about treating women's issues and have specialized in fertility support, both natural and during reproductive medical care. 

As excited as I am about using natural therapies to restore balance, I am also a firm supporter of Western Medicine. I encourage my patients to use BOTH modalities, each when most appropriate, and to be grateful we have these options. I enjoy communicating with patients' physicians when possible, to foster an integrated care approach.
