Acupuncture Support for Allergies & Sinus
You shouldn’t have to dread every change in the weather
WHEN CONGESTION BECOMES PART OF THE ROUTINE
You check the pollen count before opening the windows. A few minutes outside can mean itchy eyes, repeated sneezing, a runny nose—or congestion that settles in and refuses to leave. Headaches, interrupted sleep, and that heavy, foggy feeling make even an ordinary day more tiring.
Over time, allergy and sinus symptoms can quietly change how you live. You hesitate before working in the garden, walking through the woods, or sitting outside on a beautiful afternoon because you already know how you may feel afterward.
Sometimes you simply want to breathe freely and enjoy the day in front of you.
When we work together, I want to understand your particular pattern—when your symptoms appear, what seems to trigger them, and how they connect with your sleep, digestion, headaches, and overall health.
My goal is to provide personalized acupuncture care that supports greater comfort and helps you move through the seasons with a little more ease.

It’s Not Just What’s in the Air
THE TRIGGER IS ONLY HALF THE STORY
People can spend the same afternoon outside and have completely different experiences. One develops itchy eyes and sneezing, another feels pressure behind the cheeks and forehead, aomeone else becomes tired, foggy, and congested for days.
Chinese medicine pays attention to the way YOUR symptoms:
-
RUNNY & REACTIVE: Repeated sneezing, clear drainage, watery eyes, and itching
-
BLOCKED & HEAVY: Stubborn congestion, facial pressure, headaches, and a foggy feeling
-
HOT & IRRITATED: Red or burning eyes, an irritated nose or throat, and symptoms aggravated by heat
-
DRY & SENSITIVE: Dry nasal passages, a scratchy throat, and irritation without much drainage
-
RECURRING & DEPLETING: Symptoms that return every season, linger after exposure, or leave you feeling exhausted
When we work together, treatment is shaped around your particular pattern. Rather than 'just another sinus headache', I take the time to understand your constitution, your overall health, and how the different parts of your story fit together.

What Does Progress Feel Like?
Progress often appears in the little rituals you stop needing—and the interruptions that no longer run your day:
-
You wake up breathing through your nose, without the 'sandpaper tongue'.
-
The first thing you notice about your morning is the smell of coffee, not the pressure behind your eyes.
-
You can bend down to tie your shoes or pull a weed without your forehead building up throbbing pressure.
-
You make it through a ball game or porch visit without streaming eyes and a fistful of tissues.
-
You finish mowing or working in the garden and still feel well enough to enjoy the afternoon
-
Your voice sounds like your own again—not as though you’ve had a cold for the past three weeks.
You may still have an occasional difficult pollen day, but your symptoms begin taking up less room—and the season starts feeling like something you can participate in again.

"Though I was initially anxious about the needles, she carefully explained the process and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. To my surprise, the process was painless and very relaxing.
What I appreciated most about her approach was the emphasis on treating the root cause of my health issues rather than just addressing the symptoms. This holistic approach has made a significant difference in my overall well-being.
In addition to her professional expertise, she also displayed genuine care and concern for my health.
